W.B. Mason is expanding its Sales organization and seeking a motivated Business Representative to join our growing team!

 

Seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and proactive mindset, ready to take the initiative to succeed in a performance-driven environment, the ideal candidate for this role will be energetic, enthusiastic and willing to learn. Including paid training, this role will consist of providing exceptional customer service, making outbound telephone calls and communicating professionally through daily email outreach to build rapport with new and existing business customers to promote our products and services.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Makes outbound calls to business prospects, promoting W.B. Mason’s wide range of products and services, with a strong focus on achieving goals and delivering results
  • Serves as a consultant by explaining product features and benefits; making recommendations based on customer needs and interests
  • Must meet minimum performance requirements of 100 outbound calls or 4 hours of talk-time per day
  • Informs customers about new services and offerings
  • Maintains continuous email communication with customers
  • Educates customers on competitive pricing and assists in comparing and contrasting services
  • Effectively sells the value of W.B. Mason products and services by aligning features, benefits and pricing with customer needs
  • Exercises sound judgement within the scope of empowerment, acting in the best interest of both the customer and W.B. Mason
  • Builds strong customer relationships and presents a positive image of W.B. Mason through professional internal & external communication, utilizing soft-skills such as active listening, problem solving and respectful probing techniques.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to type at least 25 words per minute
  • Must be able to maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance
  • Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone in a professional manner
  • Must be computer-savvy with strong attention to detail, excellent grammar, and professional email etiquette
  • Must be able to work assigned work schedule (AM/PM) and attend all required training sessions
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal tact
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and self-motivation

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Previous phone sales experience preferred, but not mandatory
